The Dialogue Center DCC (Al-Ofoq),
is a Jordanian non-government, non-profit organization
that focuses on 12 topics to achieve genuine development
and reform in Jordan and the Middle East:
1 - Peace and co-existence.
2 - Environment and sustainable development.
3 - Promoting tolerance among people, nations, and religions.
4 - Cultural and religious dialogue.
5 - Child labor.
6 - Domestic violence.
7 - Population policies.
8 -Women's empowerment.
9 - Disability.
10 - Human rights.
11 - Small projects for the poor and unemployed.
12 - Raising awareness and training in all of these topics.
Objectivity and Neutrality in the Media
Goals:
1 -To respect the truth whatever the consequences may happen to be.
2 - To defend the freedom of the information flow.
3 - To report only on facts.
4 - Not to resort to unfair methods to get the information.
5 - Review news stories around the world for a practical and objective point of view.
6 - To train the reporters how to write objective and neutral news stories.
